Groundbreaking Mining Solutions selected NPS to design, supply and install a compressed airline system for their new workshop in Forestdale, Western Australia. GMS have been providing expert service and quality parts to the Australian mining industry since 2010.
Our Business Development Manager, Dillon Smith, visited their new 1,538.50m² workshop with recommendations for a new airline that compliments the flow rate of their new compressor. Through a visual presentation of the design, Dillon recommended a 40mm ring main and 25mm twin outlet droppers in a ring main structure. To optimise the air line system, each of the 22 droppers incorporated the Infinity Zero Condensate Reducing Tee; an innovative solution that prevents damaging condensate from reaching equipment.
To ensure the high flow rates required at certain points within the workshop were achieved, Dillon designed a custom outlet from the Infinity range which included the quick release couplings and a high flow Minsup connection.
As well as commissioning and testing the compressed air system, NPS completed the inspection and registration of the air receiver with WorkSafe WA to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety & Health requirements 1996.
